The Permanent, 330 West Pender Street

Erected over a century ago, the multi-purpose venue is named after the BC Permanent & Loan Company, which opened the building in 1907. The Bank of Canada was here for several decades from 1935.

The building was carefully restored in 2016, and renamed The Permanent, bringing a landmark heritage space back to the community.
