The spear of a Roman Tribune mix with drops of blood and a cross in the upper quatrefoil.

This spectacular example of Rault design may be based on the drawings of Frederic’s grandfather, Emmanuel, founder of the Rault Studio in 1898.In France in the Rault archives, we saw many variations of his elaborate interlaced designs, which Emmanuel would create at home after a day at the workshop.
