The central portion of this grand window wall was transferred from the previous church. The parish was split on whether to keep the traditional window, made in 1947 by the McCausland studio, or to go modern, in keeping with the sleek architecture of the new building. The compromise is unusual and successful: the older window was fitted into a modernist surround designed by the prominent Winnipeg sculptor Leo Mol.
