Nearly any stained glass artist will tell you that this window is technically impossible, that none like it exist The Rault brothers rejected the standard practice of embedding the heavy inch thick slab glass in cement, instead using conventional quarter inch lead cames, heavily reinforced. They insisted that the vibrant, hand-chipped edges of dalle must remain open in order to refract as much light as possible.
