The singing bird, in this window, is not the Holy Spirit, but a reminder of the source of music in nature. The Rault’s combination of traditional painted technique and dalle de verre, all set in lead cames seems to be unique to them. The dalle de verre chunks are two centimetres thick and their extra weight must be supported in conventional lead cames.
