Downtown Regina is graced by these two fine churches facing the formal square of Victoria Park. First Baptist Church, at left, is across Victoria Avenue from Knox Metropolitan United Church. The park is also faced by Saskatchewan’s grandest hotel, the public library and a towered Art Deco Federal Building from the 1930s. A third grand church on the park was unfortunately replaced by a telephone office about 1960.
