Heavy dalle de verre glass was handmade by the Raults in small batches yielding a raw coloured glass, two centimetres thick. Chunks of the thick glass were then cut and shaped, before being assembled using ordinary lead cames. The Fleur de Lys is not only the emblem of Quebec, but of France. These deeply symbolic panels carry great meaning for the Fransaskois community of Saskatchewan.
