The glass behind the font carries the theme of the new life in Christ, in its total shape of the Tau cross. The colours in the topmost part of the window suggest the creation and the new creation in the child. Sun; moon; the ‘fish’ for the Christian; the river of life; the rainbow of hope; the subtle blending of spirit and flesh, over giver and receiver are seen in the muted greens. Everywhere blue is the chief of colour, for man in the receiver of grace. This grace is seen flowing down in the red force of God’s power, the clear water of baptism, the flowing flesh-tone of parallel physical life.
