The English trained Henry Bloomfield and his sons James and Charles were leading early stained glass artists in B.C. Henry was a friend of the architect Francis Rattenbury and collaborated on outstanding glass designs in Victoria and Vancouver. Rattenbury designed both the B.C. Legislature and Victoria’s Empress Hotel.
