Stratmann’s grand depiction of Creation in this wonderful window recalls Michelangelo’s masterpiece in the Sistine Chapel. This window would be admired and famous in any European city, and Regina is extraordinarily fortunate to have it. The artist’s relative was the Parish Priest when it was commissioned in the 1980s.

The Holy Trinity is represented by the celestial face of God the Father, the dove of the Holy Spirit, and a sacrificial lamb symbolizing Christ. Mary is the intercessor between Earth and Heaven in Catholic tradition.

Two trees represent humanity’s presence on Earth, Adam and Eve at left and modern people at right.
