This enormous window lights the International Terminal at Vancouver airport.  It is constructed of thousands of tiny petals in intricate layers of bonded glass, a technically innovative masterwork by the Vancouver artist Lutz Haufschild.

Haufschild came to Canada after studying the medium of stained glass in his native Germany.
