Igloo Nativity

St George’s Church is among the most Northerly in Canada.

The windows were created by the longtime parish priest Fr Paul Bachman and his Mohawk wife Ann Marie. She was from Kahnawake near Montreal; Father Paul grew up in White Plains, New York, studied to be a Deacon at St John’s Episcopal Cathedral in Manhattan; and was the priest at this church in Canada’s High Arctic for many years.
